Dear friend, we are so exited to find and introduce a loving and friendly and dependable au pair to our sweet kids and welcome you to our home. We hope you will enjoy our company and have a marvelous experience in the US!

As a family, we love to celebrate each season with trips to the beach and apple picking, and carving pumpkins (or just placing the pumpkins if we are too late to carve them!) and sledding and sitting by the fire. We enjoy spending time together in the house and yard, and taking walks and exploring in the neighborhood and nearby towns.

Our house is about ten minutes north of downtown Greenwich. Downtown Greenwich is a beautiful town with a lot of relaxing places to walk, great shopping, coffee shops and restaurants. It is an international and sophisticated town. Greenwich is also the closest city in Connecticut to NYC and is just a quick train ride (about an hour on weekends) from Grand Central Station in the heart of midtown New York.

To the east and west of Greenwich are the towns of Portchester and Stamford, which each have a very different feel and terrific shopping and dining. The town of Armonk a few minutes drive to our north is a lovely and rustic New York town that is very relaxing to visit. The southern shore of Greenwich is on Long Island Sound.

We are also located nearby to several beautiful natural places. There are a number of beaches and parks in town that are lovely to stroll. There is an Audubon nature sanctuary, and a wildflower sanctuary a few minutes' drive from us, and a gorgeous reservoir across the street for walks.

We are looking for an au pair who has a good character with whom we can establish a peaceful and reliable routine. It is important to understand and be really good with kids because at this age they are full of surprises! We hope you are happy to work hard and help us out and we will support you to the fullest extent in every way we possibly can.

This is our second year in the au pair program. We are experienced with hosting an au pair. Before using the au pair program we had live in nannies so we are very experienced with sharing our home. We enjoy welcoming someone into our house and sharing cultural experiences. We need someone very mature, hard working, positive, and energetic who enjoys spending time with young kids. The job will require all aspects of their care, including driving, cooking, cleaning and laundry and most importantly loving the kids, keeping them safe and providing guidance. We have a car for the au pair's use and a very private and comfortable space with a bathroom. The area is very popular with au pairs and there's a lot to do and see.
