I am Vanessa and my husband’s name is Mike. If you come to work for us, you will live with my husband, my twins (boy and girl), my mother in law, and and me.
We are a loving household and hope that you can help us take great care of our twins, Logan, and Jacqueline. They are sweet and wonderful children. Everyone says they are a joy they are to work with. Logan is sweet and lively, and Jacqueline is kind and outgoing. We are looking for a bright, energetic person who will engage our children with games, reading, and physical activity.
Logan and Jacqueline will be attending first grade in the fall and hope you will have an interest in their school work, helping them continue to learn and grow. They are involved in piano and dance but we would like to also see them get involved in sports.
Most of the work will be Monday to Friday around 40 hours a week with occasional weekend days sprinkled here and there. You will have your own bedroom, bathroom, and closet. Our home also has a second living room with television that you can usually use at your leisure, but you are also free to come upstairs to hang out with our family as you wish.
Our home is located in NJ with fairly easy access to NYC. The bus that goes to NYC is a 6 minute walk from the house. Both my husband and I work in NYC. I work Monday to Friday and only work 2 weekends a year. My husband works two days a week, but these days vary from week to week, so schedules will vary on a weekly basis. We value your education and are willing to work with you make sure your education time is scheduled in accordance with our own.
My mother in law spends 4-6 months a year in the Philippines, so she will not always be in the house.

Au pair will take care of 6 year old twins (boy/girl). Au pair will be be expected to dress the children in the morning, take children to the park, drop off/pick up children (may involve driving) to/from school/extracurricular activities like dance and piano, help children with homework and school projects, prepare/cook children's meals, bathe children, assist in family trips, assist in bedtime routine, clean and organize bedroom and toys, do laundry for children's clothes. You are expected to be active in assisting with their school activities and encourage them to practice hobbies. In addition, if one of the children becomes ill, you are expected to pick him or her early.
