Our house is 7 minutes from town in the mountains of Boulder Colorado. It is an outdoor heaven! There are endless trails for hiking, biking, paragliding, running, camping, rafting, skiing, hot tubs, hot springs, caverns, adventure parks... Boulder is a very active University town with events, music, art, festivals, farmers market, lectures, workshops and other local activities going on nearly every day. The University of Colorado at Boulder is 11 minutes from our house in the heart of the city with 33,000 students from all over the US and the world for our au pair to build a community of friends. Boulder is a very environmentally conscious city with composting, recycling, gardening, community service projects, environmental initiatives, farmers markets etc. There is a great public transportation system with passes and discounts and a vibrant local community groups from all over the world (Japan, Korea, China, Africa, Latin America etc.). There is a nationally acclaimed conference on world affairs at CU every year that is wonderful and Olympic athletes from all over the world train here. It is a very cool city with fun for whatever might interest our au pair. This is Boulder CO--Spectacularly beautiful! 30 mins from Denver and at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. So much to do and see.

Hello! We are the Family. My name is Sara and my husband is Lloyd. We have been together for 15 years. We live in the beautiful mountains of Boulder Colorado with 2 acres of land, a garden and fruit trees. We are 7 minutes from town, have a car for our au pair and have two beautiful little girls: Ellie is 4 years and Anna is 2! We have four sets of parents/grandparents that are close by to see and be involved in their lives every week and we also both have siblings with young children. We are a very close family! Ellie is full of life learning to write, sing, build crafts and was attending preschool part time until COVID hit. With so many grandparents near by we have to be very careful so we're not doing any school for either girl until things are safer. Anna is a darling two year old, running, jumping, talking up a storm and she is always singing! Both girls get along really well, sleep in the same room and want to be together always. We also LOVE animals, are largely vegetarian and we have two dogs that are a big part of our life. We would need an au pair that is comfortable with dogs and hopefully loves them too! Both Lloyd and I work full time during the week from home. One sets of grandparents live just 15 minutes away and the girls are with them on Tuesday mornings
