Dear Host Family,

My name is Thien Thanh, you can call me Tasha. I’m a Vietnamese currently living in Taiwan after graduation, and I am very happy to introduce myself to you. I am an open-minded, caring, and responsible person who truly enjoys spending time with children and learning from different cultures. Becoming an au pair is not only a chance for me to support a family, but also a meaningful opportunity to immerse myself in a new culture, improve myself, and share my own background with others.

I have always loved learning languages and connecting with people from different countries. I can speak Vietnamese, Chinese, and English fluently, which has helped me communicate with many different people and understand different ways of thinking. I believe language is not only a tool for communication, but also a bridge between cultures.

I also have experience working with children in different settings. I have worked as an English teacher at primary schools and junior high schools, where I learned how to communicate with children patiently, guide them with encouragement, and create a positive learning environment. Besides teaching, I also have babysitting experience and have been a language partner for a three-year-old child. Through these experiences, I learned how important it is to be gentle, attentive, and responsible when taking care of children.

I would describe myself as someone who works with care and heart. When I take care of children, I do my best to make them feel safe, respected, and supported. I enjoy playing with them, helping them learn, listening to them, and being someone they can trust. I understand that every child has their own personality and needs, so I try to be patient and flexible.

Another thing about me is that I love animals very much. I love all kinds of animals, and I would be very happy to live with a family that has pets. I believe animals bring warmth and happiness to a home, and I would gladly help take care of them if needed.

I am also very interested in experiencing daily family life in another country. I want to learn about your culture, traditions, food, language, and lifestyle, while also sharing my own culture with you. I hope to become not only an au pair, but also a kind and trustworthy member of your family.
