From a young age and having my mum as a Deputy Headteacher at a Primary School, I have always wanted to witness first hand the joys and rewards of working with Children. Working as an Au Pair in a different culture has always been a dream of mine, and I truly believe that I am the perfect fit for this important role.
My desire for this career is paired by my natural ability to connect with children of all ages and backgrounds; as well as my ability to create a safe and loving environment for children’s growth and development. I am detail-oriented, communicative, and passionate, and I am confident that combined with my endless enthusiasm, this makes me an invaluable addition to any family seeking an Au Pair.
With my experience in; babysitting, volunteering at local after-school programs, and working in a Summer Childcsre School, I am excited about the opportunity to work with a family and support their children’s development.
During my work at Cloud 9 Kids a club, I was a Team Leader for a ‘bubble’ of children during Covid. I led games and activities, as well as being a lunchtime supervisor. This role involved working with other team members, to ensure the activities ran safely and smoothly whilst enabling the children to have fun. The children ranged from reception to year 6 (UK). During my time as a babysitter for my family friends, I looked after the children ranging from the ages of 3 to 5 years old, ensuring their safety and well-being while engaging them in educational and recreational activities at home.
These roles developed my leadership, teamwork and time management skills. It also required initiative and confidence, as well as the need to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
With my current job as a Private Wealth Administrator, my strong communication skills, patience, and empathy make me an ideal candidate for this position. On top of my previous experience with children, I can effortlessly connect with both children and parents to provide the best care possible. Additionally, I am a very quick and proactive learn and my adaptability means that I can quickly adjust to different childcare situations, such as adapting to individual family routines.
I completed my college studies at Hautlieu Grammar School in Jersey, receiving 35 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme points. I also received excellent grades in my GCSEs - including 4 9 (equivalent to A*) . As a dedicated student and learned myself, I am dedicated to making learning a fun thing that occurs everyday with children.

Whilst I have no prior experience as an Au Pair, I believe that my past work experience and the qualities and values I have, make me an excellent candidate.
As someone who loves travelling and is fascinated by learning about new cultures, I would love to became an Au Pair abroad. My love for new cultures can be seen through doing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and working at a very global company. These have made me a very well rounded and educated individual who is very open minded.
I would describe myself as someone who is hard working, caring and enjoys a challenge. I would like to put these characteristics to use within your family. My previous work experience and the skills I have developed would make me an invaluable member of the household.
I am fluent in English, and currently independently learning Korean. Whilst my Korean skills are currently limited, I will arrange for private Korean Lessons upon my arrival in South Korea.
