Hello I’m Ksenia. I’m 21 years old. I was born in Volgograd, but now I live in Moscow. I’m studying psychology at university. I study english with a tutor and I dream of learning spanish. I read a lot, my favorite book is “Harry Potter”. I work at the bakery until 2 p.m., and then I go to fitness.
In my free time I like to hang out with my family and friends. We like to watch movies, drink coffee in cafes and talk to each other.
When I was 16, I went to college in Krasnodar. Besides studying, I looked after my mom's friend's son. His name was Artyom, he was seven years old. After my college classes, which ended at 1 p.m., I'd go home for a while, leave my stuff there, and go pick up Artem from school. After school, Artem and I had lunch and did his homework. In the evening we played educational games and read books. And during the week I took Artem to his extra classes. On warm days we always did sports outside.
Artem, like me, loves sports, so we always had fun. We liked to play soccer with other kids. I got used to Artem so much that it was hard leaving my job. But his family moved to another city. However, Artem and I still meet sometimes, I send him birthday gifts.
When I moved to Moscow, I started working with a boy named Harry. My friend was looking for a part-time nanny, which suited me perfectly. Harry was two years younger than Artem. Harry and I spent a lot of time outside, playing soccer and basketball with the other kids. Harry, despite his age, was a very interesting kid. I liked talking to him about cars, he taught me how to understand cars. I learned a lot from Harry! He knew a lot about animals, told me unusual and interesting facts. He liked sharks, we could talk about them for hours. Harry likes the Animal Planet channel, we often watched it together and then discussed the information we heard there. Because of Harry's love for animals, I started reading not only classic literature, but also books about animals.
Through my work with children, I realized that we need to learn from them. Children are inquisitive, they want to know everything about the world, they are hungry for new knowledge. I want to dedicate my life to children. Children are my life purpose, I want to connect my future with them and make progress in this field. My main dream is to help kids of any age so that they feel themselves more confident in adult life.
