Dear Future Host Family,
Greetings, Future Host Family. I hope this letter finds you well. Hi! I am Anna. I am 21 years old. I am from the Philippines. I love cooking, baking, and doing household chores. I am also good with kids. I am currently babysitting my younger cousins and I used to babysit for my neighbors. In addition, I tutor preschool to college. I am also an assistant in a preschool. I am also an advocate for children with disabilities and conducts various activities such as summer art camps to foster inclusivity and remove the stigma. I also received proper training at school including knowing lots about special education that and visiting and socializing with children with disabilities that helped me know more about them and understand what they need. I love eating as well as cooking! I am actually a good cook. Growing up, my mom has taught me to be a good one. She used to be a maid and a cook for several families and as the eldest daughter, I always do the cooking in our house. I can cook everything from scratch as long as I have a recipe guide. I also love baking and still learning! I am actually planning to build my own pastry shop in the future. I also love doing household chores because I am the eldest daughter and that is the turf of my mom. She also taught me how to do household chores. I actually mastered the art of cleaning. Plus, I am also doing part time in cleaning around neighborhood. I can do everything. Tidying up, doing laundry, Ironing, Cleaning windows, Cleaning toilet, Vacuuming, Sweeping, Mopping, Dusting and Wiping and everything! I also love pets because I have two dogs named Chivas and Whiskey and two cats—Toothless and Mama cat. I also sometimes visit pet shelters for stray dogs and cats and help them with cleaning and feeding them. I also donate to the shelter when I have extra money. I love dancing, singing, drawing, making calligraphy, playing instruments, reading books, making traditional arts, biking, and going on adventures. I cannot swim because of lack of opportunity. I am non-smoker and I don't drink alcohol. I don’t have any diseases.


I know that I am still young and have limited life experiences, especially in childcare, and many other candidates may have an edge over me. However, I am confident that I am worth the risk. With my dedication, commitment and perseverance, I can do a great job. I am a hardworking person and I have a strong conviction that we would make a good match. Your family seems lovely, and I would be honored to be a part of it. Please give me a chance to pursue my dream. I promise to do everything I can to earn your trust and not take it for granted.
