Hello my name is April Joy. I am a 24-year-old turning 25 this coming April 11, Filipino female with a bachelor's degree in special needs education. Currently, I am working as a part time tutor. I am an honest, reliable, responsible, peaceful, well-organized, flexible, useful, self-reliant, independent person. In my free time, I enjoy reading novels and watching anime. I am a person who plans her life not only for the now but also the future, as I believe that having a plan and sticking to it is the best way to achieve success in life.
           I was raised in a loving family. My mother is Jocelyn 51 years old and a housewife. My father is Eduardo 52 years old and a welder. My siblings are Mae Ann 31 years old and aupair in Norway. John Eduard is 26 years old and a working man. Decerie is 22 years old and in 4th year of college. Lyka is 20 years old and in 1st year of college. My younger sister Faye is 16 years old and in junior high school. I am the 3rd of them. As a daughter, I was taught how to iron and wash clothes, tidy and clean the house and to cook simple meals. We live in PalacPalac Pozorrrubio, Philippines.
I work before as a baby sitter and house helper while I’m studying my duties are cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and responsible of a 2 years old and 12 years kids. In year 2016 I work in a family with 3. Princess is a 12 years old first year student, I prepare her breakfast and her things for school and also help her in her homework. And every Saturday I help in their water station. In year 2019  I work as a baby sitter. Shimmer is a 2 years old, I drop her off and pick her up from her day care center and after that I play with her and teach her. Sometimes I bring her in the park. In the year 2021 I work in the family in Baguio as a baby sitter. Benjamin he was one year old at that time I take care of him like changing his diaper, bath and feed him. In my workplace I learned to be responsible and organize. And In our family time I get to use to take care all of my nieces and nephews (1-7yo) and I really like to do it. My responsibilities will help me to be more independent to be away from my family. I’m expecting to be part of a good host family and us having a good communication with each other. You can expect me to be more flexible at work and can do multi-tasking. I can assure in your family that I’m worth it to be your aupair because of my previous work experience as a babysitter and house helper. I learned a lot of household chores and to be organize.I  I can assure you that we can enjoy each other’s company especially the children because I love to take care of children and teaching them not only on their homework but also in their actions, manners, and to grow up with good attitude. I know children with good character are a pleasure to their parents to have.
I want to be an aupair because I want to experience the four seasons which we don't have here in the Philippines. I want to know more about the culture, the language and try their different culture activities like how they celebrate different occasion. And also I want to try the different food delicacies.
