I am already very excited about getting to know you. But first of all i would like to introduce myself to you.
Hi, My name is Mary Mae but you can call me as Mae. I am 26 years old from Philippines. I am single and no child. I already have experience being aupair last 2021 in Iceland & Denmark. And here I am again, trying my luck to find a new host family who is willimt to accept me as their even though I'm already here in the Philippines. I'm still intouch with my host families there in Iceland and Denmark and they are still willing to help me to give some recommendation letters if needed.
Including me we are 6 in the family. I am living with my parents, 20 and 14yrs old sisters and 15yrs old brother. I completed my 2 years course which is Diploma in Midwifery at Institute Business Science and Medical Arts Inc.
My experience with children ranges from newborn to 14yrs old. When it comes to child care experience I have looked after my siblings back then i was the eldest sister I have taken big responsibilities in our family such as taking care of my younger siblings since they were babies. (aged 20,15 and 14 now) Im the one who is responsible while our parents are at work. I have gained enough experience in terms of changing diapers, bathing and clothing. Preparing milk, meals and feeding them. Cleaning up, helping with home work, nap and bed times, maintaining a safe and loving environment and nurturing happy and healthy children.
After I finish my course I worked as an Nursing Assistant in a private Hospital in our hometown. Here in our house I do typical tasks such as cooking easy Filipino recipes, keeping our Family’s room tidy and clean. Ironing some clothes and do the laundry. Light shopping, washing the dishes, playing and taking care ong and picking up them from schools and other activities. Helping the kids with their home works and helping them with their personal hygiene.(toothbrushing, changing clothes, bathing, etc.) Cleaning the house and organizing things.
I always have a positive attitude to life. I am responsible, committed and active person who can entertain your kids.
The reason why I wanted to be an au pair again is because I want to experience new places, foods, people and to enjoy exploring the local area you live in and learn your way of life but also make my own friends. I would like to help your family with the domestic chores, pet sitting, and taking care of your kids.
I want to provides the opportunity to work with your children and have a hand upbringing while watching them grow, to earn a rewarding experience while doing something that you love, to become part of a community and also experience different cultures to learn more about life in another perspective which is beyond my comfort zone. I believe that being part of this program would help me to become a better version of myself to be a responsible and more independent.
I hope this gives you a little insight to who I am. I am happy to answer any and all questions you may have.
