Dear Future Host Family,
Good day!
I am writing this letter to show my interest on applying as one of your aupair member. I I am Christine, 23 years old, from the Philippines I am a college graduate and a passport holder and I am currently working as LTO Administrator. I come from a family of five children, and I value family because it plays a significant role in my life.I am looking for my first host family in Europe who can give me the opportunity to experience new family life,Cultural exchange, learn new languages, explore different places, and experience their four seasons.
As the eldest in the family, I am the One-Call-Away daughter to my parents which I helped them on taking care of my other siblings since we were all one or two years apart. I do cooking for them, washing their clothes, take them a bath, cleaning the house and even during primary school, I sell snacks to my classmates and do household chores like cooking, cleaning, and washing my parents and siblings clothes which it turns to be my hobbies until now. I also accompanied and helped my mother when she had a sideline or worked as a helper or babysitter to earn money for our school needs. Given the situation we have had since then, I have become more courageous and have developed more perseverance to succeed, make our lives better, and successfully become what I am right now.
Having had those experiences since childhood, I have become more knowledgeable about taking care of a baby, doing household chores, and becoming more hardworking. Also, it made me more passionate about taking care of children, even our neighbor's child. I insisted on taking care of her like my own sister. I took her for a bath, fed her, changed her clothes, and taught her to walk and dance until she was a 4-year-old baby. Our bonds become stronger and stronger. I also teach her how to write her name, and since I really love mathematics more than any other subject, I also teach her some basic mathematics that makes me feel butterflies in my stomach every time she gets to understand and doesn't forget what I have taught her for days.
I've been dreaming to become an Au pair for me to experience cultural exchange, learning new languages, having the opportunity to experience their 4 seasons, personally visit their beautiful places where my "Hopefully I can see them not just in social media" will become "Please take a picture of me with these places". I am so adventurer that I wanted to go abroad to explore their places and foods.
I am a very simple person, gentle, caring, thoughtful, adaptability, flexible, adventurous, positivity, creative, honest,hardworking, trustworthy and patient. I wish to be an Au pair because I want to experience and learn more about the culture of Europe. I love to see new places and people of different race. To learn new language and to work in a different environment. My hobbies are sketching, painting, reading books and listening to music. I like to swim, ride a bicycle,play badminton and volleyball. I go to Church every sunday to meet my friends. I have the personal interest in caring children. My future plan is to help my parents and siblings financially. I hope that my Prospective host family would consider me as their Au pair where I can share my enthusiasms in taking care of the children. To work with the family and serve them well.
