I am Arvie Jamaica Mendoza, 20 years old, and I live in Quezon City, Philippines, with my mother and two brothers. I graduated from high school in 2021 and then began my first year of college at Our Lady of Fatima University, where I take a Bachelor of Science in International Tourism Management. However, because to a lack of funds, I only completed the first semester. I started working as a food cart attendant when I was 18 years old for one month, and because my pay was inadequate, I decided to apply as a call center agent. I was hired on August 2, 2022, and I stayed with the company for 8 months. I was also transitioned from "onsite" to "work from home" due to my excellent performance as a customer service representative. Because my grandma was diabetic, I chose to resign and go from Pasay City to Calatagan, Batangas. My grandma was already bedridden at the time, so I took care of her. After months of caring for my grandma, I decided to apply for the same role at a different company because I already have 8 months of experience working as a call center agent handling foreign clients. Furthermore, one of my passions is taking care of children in my spare time after work or on my days off. I have cared for my nieces and siblings since I was a child, assisting them with their academics such as assignments, projects, and any other school activities. I also enjoy playing with them and teaching them things that I know will help them enhance their academic performance.
My interests include crafts, calligraphy, singing, and cooking. I enjoy making crafts because I enjoy designing and repurposing resources to create unique items. I also enjoy calligraphy and writing because I enjoy seeing my performance duties as attractive as I possibly could in school while learning when I was still studying before. One of my interests is singing. I enjoyed singing since it made me happy anytime music was playing and I began to sing anything. Furthermore, people enjoy seeing me sing and are thrilled when I bring the music. I've always enjoyed cooking since I was a 16 years old. I learned to cook because I like watching my mother cook. I am also a quick learner with a lot of knowledge in cooking and baking.
I wish to work in Europe, specifically the Netherlands, because it has a high life expectancy, career prospects, and educational quality. I recall the folks being open, warm, and welcome. I know how generous the Dutch are. They also appreciate honesty and interact in an open and honest manner. Because the Dutch appreciate education, even if I did not complete my college education owing to financial constraints, I know and think that I can assist the children with their academics. Working in Europe is also vastly different from working in the Philippines. I want to aid my family, especially my mother, who has been a single mother since 2010. I don't

want her to work much longer because she's getting older. It will be a tremendous assistance for me to work in the Netherlands because the salary that I can obtain is significantly higher than my former job. It will enable me and my family to live a comfortable lifestyle, and I want to provide for my entire family. Also, I know how beautiful the Netherlands is and I want to see it for myself, but I can guarantee that I will give my best in my job.
Finally, I want to be an au pair because I adore spending time with children. I know I can multitask while cooking or doing housework. I can also care for children while doing my job, not only for children but also to assist parents with domestic tasks and to do their part if they are too busy. I've been doing those things since I was a babysitter for my nieces and siblings. Most of the time, I enjoy teaching the kids to read books, watch movies, and play with them. I know that every child's enjoyment was to not be stressed out by homework and to spend quality time with their friends and relatives. I will be patient and understanding with the children I will be caring for. I may be a friend, sister, or even a tutor to them. Children can also come up to me if they are struggling or feeling worn out. I will assist and guide them to the best of my ability. I will make certain that kids have good manners and value their education.
