To my dearest future Host Family,
Hello, my name is Michelle, 23 years old from Philippines. I'm a college graduate took Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and also a volunteer in our community. But right now, I am in search of a Host Family whom I can share my knowledge and experience with. I have the basic requirements on hand so I am ready to process my visa and start as soon as possible.
Let me introduce more about myself.
First of all, let me introduce my lovely family. We are six in the family, they are my parents, two older sister, and the youngest, my brother. My mother is a vendor and my father is a farmer. My sisters has their job, the eldest is a teacher while the second is a overseas Filipino worker in Malta, she’s a waitress there, and lastly my younger brother, he is currently studying in college. I have a very good relationship with my family. Now it is time to talk about myself.
What can I tell you about my self is I am responsible, nice, really patient and adventurous. In my daily routine I am organized, resolute and dynamic. I enjoy having quality time with my family and friends. In addition, I am a person who want to do many things, I like to discover new things: people, places, cultures. I like travelling, I'd like to see what it's like to live in a different nation and learn about their culture and lifestyle. I like biking while visiting around our small barrio. I also like cooking, in our house I am the one who’s in charge to prepare meal for my family and do some household chores. And I really love being around with children.
Talking about children, I have the opportunity to care children during a long time. My first experience was some years ago. I have to care some of my younger cousins because their parents had to work abroad and I always help my grandmother to see after them. In year 2021, I am a part-time babysitter to my eldest sister’s friend. Since her friend is a single mom and very busy teaching in school I was the one who took care her child. He is Clyde, he’s very sweet and playful. He loves to read him fairytales and watching nursery songs a lot. With this great experience I learnt more how to understand and know the interest of children.
And I can say that I’m prepared to assist a family with day-to-day tasks and childcare. I’m eager to take initiative and can complete the duties assigned to me. I’m adaptive to new circumstances, flexible, open-minded, and respectful, especially to children. I am willing to study another language, and wanting to have more better experience in babysitting.
