Greetings of Peace, beautiful host family. I am Megan May or you can call me “Megan”. I am 22 years old from General Santos, Philippines. I can speak Bisaya/Tagalog/English language fluently. I graduated my four (4) years course degree, Bachelor of Physical Education major in school P.E in Holy Trinity College of General Santos City on June 23, 2023, and during my on the job training I awarded as the Best Demonstrator in grade 7 or junior high school or the first class of high school in Netherlands. I can ride a bicycle and I love dogs. I am an aspiring and hopeful soon to be an Au Pair that dreams to be part of your family.
I have experience dealing with different behaviors of children since I completed my 360 hours teaching internship on the job training successfully. I am also knowledgeable in household chore since my parents disciplined us to do so. I enjoy caring for school-aged children since I look after my 6-year-old niece (sister's daughter), whom I bring and get to school, and my 1-year-old nephew, who lives in our home. I take care also one of my cousin’s a 10 years old and 7 years of age when they had their vacation here in our household. I've also had the opportunity to serve at a church where we teach children or do bible studies.
I wanna be an Au Pair to learn and experience what’s cultural exchange program is. I have a dream of visiting the Netherlands to experience its people, culture, and language as well as its countless tulip fields, Amsterdam, and the Eiffel tower in Paris, France. A conversation with diversity would be enjoyable at least once in a lifetime. In return, I'll give you a taste of Filipino culture, cuisine, and the friendly, hardworking Filipinos.
I think I deserve to be an Au Pair because I have my heart of taking care of children and travelling. I promise to take care of your daughter’s/Sons to lessen your workload at home, and prepare their healthy food as long as there’s a recipe. I can be their older sister , I may assist them with whatever schoolwork or tasks they may have. Moreover, I will help not only with your kids but also on some light household chore for you to have more family time.
I am adaptable to change, responsible, independent, cheerful, kind, and enthusiastic individual. I appreciate diversity and respect variations in thought, race, and culture. I like to clean, go on trips, go cycling, go walking, and have me time or pamper days.
