Introduction
My name is Khrislyn Marie, I’m 23 years old and I’m from Philippines. Right now, I reside in Ormoc City, which is in the eastern Visayas. Ormoc, which is in Region 8, has a reputation for being "the city of beautiful people" and has historically had some of the best cultural, artistic, and urban environments.
My sister, parents, and I are the four members of my family. My father is a wonderful welder who works for a firm and is always there for our family. My mother is a housewife but she gives her full attention to us.
It's time to talk about myself now: I consider myself to be an ambitious and creative young woman with many plans for the future. As I have a strong desire to assist people, especially women, I have completed my college education and obtained a midwifery diploma. Additionally, we have a board test here in the Philippines that allows us to practice lawfully for our profession. Thus, in April 2023, I sat for and passed the midwifery license exam, becoming a registered midwife. I am a midwife/nursing attendant at an hospital for the time being. Despite the hard work, I am confident that I can now declare that I am very adaptable and self-sufficient. I want to get a bachelor's degree in a year or two, but I'm not sure what I want to study. I would like to take a break from life in order to gain new perspective and have some quiet time to consider my future. In light of this, I believe that a year spent overseas would be extremely beneficial and fascinating.
Naturally, Cebuano is my first language, but I can also communicate in English and I think that participating in a cultural exchange program would truly help me become more comfortable speaking English. It would be really interesting for me to experience Dutch family life. Due to the fact that it provides a cultural setting distinct from mine, this is why I'd really like to move to the Netherlands or other country and live with a nice family that I can work for. My long-held desire has always been to live and work abroad, and I'm thrilled that this will soon come true.
I've worked with kids before when it comes to child care experience. Several years ago, I began providing care for youngsters. I first took care of our family friend's infant, but as time went on and I gained the grownups' trust, I was given more and more responsibilities. I made a sincere effort to try my hardest. My duties involved tending to him, engaging in play, putting the young child to sleep, and watching over him until his parents returned home. His parents trusted me, and I was happy that I could handle his gentle and quiet demeanor, so my work wasn't too hard. Being a child's caregiver is not always simple, but spending time with them is wonderful.
I am thus strong enough to set boundaries with them if needed. I'm imaginative, cheerful, fun, and humorous around kids. Having said that, I can honestly tell that I love being around kids. The little things in life are what I enjoy doing when I have free time. Going on walks, seeing new locations, hanging out with friends, and watching movies are all things I love to do.
I would be delighted to talk with you in order to address any queries you may have about me or my experience working as a child care caregiver, to find out more about your interests and family, and to find out what you hope to get out of the au pair program. I sincerely hope that I am the appropriate person to look after your kids, and I eagerly await your response.
Best regards,
?Khrislyn Marie
