My name is Erna May, I'm 26 years old Filipina, your aspiring au pair from the Philippines. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education. I am raised by a loving parents who taught me to become responsible, together with my 4 other siblings. I consider myself as extremely cheerful, patient, responsible, positive attitude, creative, energetic and trustworthy person. My hobbies are hiking, biking, going to the beach, sewing, singing, listening to music and spending time with my friends.
I am passionate when it comes to children. As a teacher by profession, I have gained years of experience in teaching both private and public school and I can say that this experience truly helped me in handling the kids. After I graduated, I worked as a tutor for 6 months with children of various ages groups and children with special needs. I help them with their homework, I teach them to read and write their name, telling stories, paintings and I teached children ages 3-10 phonics in a fun and smarter way. I also love playing with them with different games and creating fun activities for them. I have always enjoyed being around and working with children and find it rewarding to help them learn and grow. I also have experienced being a baby sitter for almost 4 years in my high school years. I used to help my aunt to look after my cousin when they were babies and toddlers. I used to give them their foods, changing diapers, fix their toys, taking them to shower and putting them to bed for nap. Besides teaching and taking care of child, I can also do light household chores from cooking simple meals, cleaning and washing both clothes and dishes and etc. I love to maintain cleanliness because here in the Philippines, we always practice and we always do that in our daily lives.
I believe that my education and personal qualities make me well-suited to be an au pair, and I am confident that I would be able to provide excellent care and support for your children.
