Good day, Ma'am/Sir. I am writing in regards to being an Au Pair in your family. I am Mae-Ann from the Philippines. I am 20 years old. I really want to be an Au Pair in addition to learn another culture, help raise and educating kids. I don't mind about how much pocket money you will give me because my purpose is being an au pair who is learning your language, culture exchange, taking care of kids, doing some light houseworks and being part of your family. Even though I'm young, I know my priorities in life.
I've experienced taking care of a baby or kids. It's my Aunt's baby. I even know how to change diapers, and make the baby's sleep. I enjoy taking care of kids because of how sweet and energetic they are. I know taking care of kids the whole time can be tiring. But I am sure that I will adapt to the new tasks and daily routine quickly and become a big help for you. My calm and patient personality will help me to master more difficult situations, for instance when the kids are tired or don’t want to listen to me. I can do household chores like cleaning, laundry, and cooking.
I am very responsible and reliable. I always follow instructions carefully. I make mistakes but I believe in saying "Learn from your mistakes." I am also very flexible and can work well under pressure. I enjoy working with children and look forward to meeting your family soon. Thank you for reading my letter. I really appreciate it.
