Hi, my name is Rachel. 24 years old, a filipino currently living in the Philippines. I have a bachelor's degree and graduated in a known university here. I would describe myself as an open-minded, hard-working, easy going, dedicated and responsible person. Sometimes I might be shy and a little reserved at first, but that is not something that bothers at all, I am very flexible. For me, safety, health and happiness of children are most important.
I decided to become an Au Pair/nanny because I love working with children and I enjoy being a part of a family. I think it is a great way to learn about new cultures and to experience life in another country.
I believe being an au pair will help me to be an independent person. Taking good care of my host family gives me more responsibility. Lending a hand counts even in my own little ways. Throughout this experience I know I can learn a lot from the family and really looking forward to have a harmonious relationship with them. Learning more about life in another perspective which is beyond my comfort zone. And these memories will be treasured forever.
