Dear Future Host Family,

Having a right hand you can trust is what you need to make you feel always calm and you could work with peace knowing that when you come home you will have a happy children, a clean house and I’m available to help you with that.

My name is Nimfa, 26 years old and from the Philippines. I am single with no child. I have a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Customs Administration. I used to be a children’s leader before in our chapel every summer. The children will take moving activities like singing, dancing, playing and also allowing them to do sitting work such as reading and writing. I want them to know that I can also be their big sister who will be there to teach and guide them in many ways. I am the youngest among the siblings but I have many experience working with children, as I have 4 nieces and 1 nephew. I used to babysit them when they where still babies. Even now, when their parents are working, I am the one who takes care of them most of the time. Accompanying and fetching the kids from school is not new to me since that is one of my responsibilities. I’m also responsible on helping them to complete their homework and assignments, tidying up their room, feeding and reading them stories. I can also do household chores such as cleaning, organizing things, doing laundry, and cooking basic meals.

I would describe myself as an outgoing and someone who can be relied on. I am independent , respectful and family-oriented person. Occasionally, I enjoyed going outside and be with nature. My hobbies are dancing, taking videos of nature, travelling, reading and listening to music. I enjoyed doing outdoor activities such as playing badminton, hiking and riding scooters. I also love pets, I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and a small rabbitry barn.

The main reason that I want to become an aupair because I love taking care of children and I enjoyed being with them. I also believe that through this program, it will have a positive impact on me culturally and linguistically. If given a chance to be part of your loving family, I will do my best to help you with your children. I want to see them grow and discover their good habits and I will make myself a good example to them. I can be their big sister and treat them as my sibling and also treat you as my own family. I hope and believe that I would be a great match for your family.
