Dear Future Family,
I am Jorji, from the Philippines, specifically Davao City. I am now 24 years old and will turn 25 on September 16. I've only finished my 3rd year of college with a Bachelor of Science in Office Administration, and due to financial problems, as I do not have parents to support, I need to start working and save up, but I actually don't know what exactly I wanted to do.
I stay with my grandma (the aunt of my biological dad) and her family, and they have raised me well. Growing up with them, I was exposed to church, playing instruments like the piano and ukulele, and also being responsible and independent on my own. My grandma's children have kids now, and I have been taking care of them since I was 13 years old. I learned how to take care of newborns, and now they have grown up, and I am so proud to be part of their lives. They have also entrusted me, or I am the go-to person with their kids and everything when they need to go somewhere or do something and I do almost all of the house chores. Also, I know how to cook basic Filipino food and would love to learn more.
When I was a kid, I dreamed of traveling to Europe, and I know it is impossible as we are not well off, but I have dreams. Recently, I discovered Aupair, and I wish I knew it earlier. If given a chance, I would love to be anywhere in Europe and learn about different cultures. It really amazes me, though I do now know how to speak each language, and I believe I could communicate through English. I am patient and kind, and I have the willingness to learn.
I believe that aupair is a great opportunity to explore new places, cultures and new languages is impossible as a tourist.This is a calling for me to start a life on my own and, of course, with your help by picking me.
