Hi! I’m Rose, a mature, loving, and independent individual. I currently live with my parents, along with our dogs and cats. I have two brothers. My older brother is married with no children, and my younger brother is still studying in college. My mother is a housewife and my father works in construction. I help my mother in her housework, cooking and preparing breakfast and dinner, and cleaning the house. Learning new things comes easily to me.
When COVID-19 spread through my country, and I had to move my studies online, I decided to live in my cousin’s house so I could use their Internet access. My cousin has two children, one boy and one girl, and while she and her husband were at work, I’m the one who took care of their children. I prepared their breakfast, bathed them, prepared their clothes, and put them down at 11:30 each day for nap time.
Every weekend I took my cousin’s children to our neighbor’s house and tutored them and two other children there. I love to take care of children; it feels so good when they treat you like their older sister. They’re very sweet and loving. To my future host family, I’m looking forward to spending time with your children. I will keep them safe with me and treat them just like my younger sisters and brothers. I’m hoping to learn new things and improve my language skills. I hope to learn how to cook your foods because here in the Philippines we have rice three times a day with our meals and I would love to expand my palate.
