Hello future host family,

My name is Mary Stephanie, 22 years old, from the Philippines, and I am currently looking for my first host family as an au pair. I am the eldest among my siblings and also among my nieces, which helped me become responsible, caring, patient, and independent at an early age.

I have hands-on childcare experience with infants and children from 2 to 10 years old, mainly as a personal nanny to my nieces. I have been taking care of children since I was 18 years old. Through this experience, I learned how to properly care for children with patience, attentiveness, love, and understanding. I can assist with feeding, bathing, changing clothes, preparing meals, bedtime routines, tutoring, school activities, playtime, arts, and sports activities. I truly enjoy being around children because I love their energy, creativity, humor, and happiness.

I am graduating this June with a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, and while waiting for my graduation, I am currently staying at home and helping take care of my 12 months to 1–10 years old nieces while looking for my future host family. If you accept me as your au pair and as part of your family, I am willing to process and complete all the necessary requirements for the program.

Aside from childcare, I can also assist with household chores such as cleaning, laundry, organizing, and preparing simple meals. I am flexible, willing to learn, and open to adapting to your family’s culture, routines, and lifestyle. Although I do not drive, I can safely accompany children to and from school or other activities.
