My name is Chisom, and I’m a 25 year-old young woman from Nigeria with a warm heart, a curious mind, and a sincere love for children. Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile and read more about me. I’m genuinely excited about the possibility of becoming your Au Pair and being a part of your home and your children's lives.
I come from a loving, supportive family that values kindness, respect, and togetherness. Growing up, I naturally took on the role of the “big sister,” not just in my own family, but also in my community. I’ve cared for younger cousins, neighbors' kids, and helped in church activities involving children. Whether it was organizing small games, helping with homework, or simply being there when someone needed comfort, I learned early on how much joy and fulfillment I feel being around children. These moments helped shape my caring nature, and they gave me the patience and understanding needed to build trust with kids of different ages.
I would describe myself as calm, friendly, responsible, and open-minded. I enjoy helping others, learning new things, and adapting to new environments. I value good communication and honesty, and I always strive to treat people with respect. I’m also creative and enjoy storytelling, singing simple songs with kids, playing games, and even making up fun learning activities to keep them engaged.
Outside of my love for children, I have a passion for cultural exchange. Becoming an Au Pair is not just a job opportunity for me; it’s a meaningful life experience. I want to immerse myself in another culture, learn your language, and understand how families in other parts of the world live. I’m especially interested in the little things like :the daily routines, the traditions, the family meals,because I believe that's where true connection happens. I’d also love to share my own Nigerian culture with you, including food, music, and stories, so your family can experience the joy of global friendship right at home.
When it comes to responsibilities, I’m more than willing to help with childcare, school routines, meal times, playtime, bedtime routines, and light household duties like laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up play areas. I understand the importance of structure in a child’s life and am happy to follow your family’s rules and expectations. I’m respectful of your privacy and home, and I’ll always prioritize safety, especially when it comes to your children.
I believe that what makes a good Au Pair is not just qualifications but character. I may not have formal daycare training, but I bring real-life experience, a nurturing heart, and a strong sense of duty. I’m willing to learn and grow, and I promise to always give my best. I want your children to feel safe, happy, and seen. I want to be someone they can laugh with, trust, and remember fondly in the future.
I am currently available to start from October 2025, and I am open to staying for 6–12 months or more. I am open to relocating to countries And I’m currently preparing myself to learn Dutch to make communication easier and show my commitment to this journey.
