Dear host family,

My name is Nurzhan. I am 24 years old and live in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

I have a wonderful and friendly family. They always support me. My mother works a Russian language and literature teacher at school for over 30 years. My dad worked as an accountant for a long time, but now he is retired and helps around the house. I also have 2 amazing brothers (27 years old and 18 years old). When we have weekends together, we like to have a picnic in the park, go to the movies, play board games at home and much more. I also have 2 wonderful dogs that I love to spend time with.

My most recent work experience was with Yrgan, whom I nursed when he was 3 years old. I taught Yrgan to brush his teeth and wash his face every morning and evening. We walked together in the park, studied trees, birds and leaves. We also collected different animals and sorted the toys by color. From this experience, I learned that every child is unique and his games and activities may be something he enjoys doing in the future. Therefore, every child deserves attention and appreciation.

In another wonderful family in which I worked, there were two children: Ainazik (6 years old) and Bekbolsun (4 years old). I cooked different food for the children, we visited various training centers (swimming pool). Ainazik attended kindergarten, so I helped him in the morning with choosing clothes and bring to the kindergarten. Bekbolsun and I had a lot of fun reading books about dinosaurs, the Little Prince and learning about the history of the Earth in pictures. I contacted him because I listened to his needs and used game techniques.

I want to participate in the Au Pair program to share my valuable experience of caring for children, learn about parenting and interacting with children in the USA. This program will help to expand my knowledge about children of different ages, cultures and gain more practical experience. Upon returning home, I would like to establish an educational and entertainment center for the youngest and guide their parents through the development process.

I am confident that my multiple hobbies will help me a lot to build trust with kids and win new friends, so that you will have a piece of mind while being busy with other important things.
