Letter for my future family
Hi my dear host family. Let me tell you a few words about myself. My name is Milana. I am 24 years old . I am from Kyrgyzstan. There are six of us in the family. I have a mother, sister and three little sister. We all live together in city of Bishkek. All members of my family are friendly and helpful. At the moment I work part-time as a cashier. What about my hobby I do stretching. I go to the gym every other day. I like read. My favorite book is “ Pride and Prejudice ”. On weekends I usually go out for a walk with friends. I like walking and long conversations about everything in the world. It all helps me to recharge with a positive energy. That`s all. Now I want to tell about my experience with a children.
When I was 18 years old I started to work as a babysitter for the first time. I took care of a special child. Her name is Amanat. She was 6 years old. Amanat was born with an uneven spine and she cannot walk. She is very smart and kind child. Despite all the difficulties, she always remains positive. She believes that one day she will be able to walk. Her hobby is singing. She has a great voice. She participated in several competitions. I always accompanied her. She won competitions more than once. I am sure, she has a great future. Ok, Now I want to describe our one day. Our day always was busy. My working hours started at eight o`clock. Every day I came exactly eight, except weekends. Amanat wake up at this time. I usually helped her get dressed and wash. Then we did some light exercise. After exercise I was preparing breakfast. Amanat don`t eat eggs so we usually have a porridge or cereal with milk. After breakfast we walked in the park. We usually fed the squirrels, sat by the fountain, I read for her books. The summer morning we liked very much. Than we returned home. I cooked lunch for us. At 12 o`clock we ate lunch. After lunch about 1 o`clock I was laying her to sleep. Daytime sleep was a must. She slept until 14.00 or 14.30 o`clock. During this time I washed the dishes, did wet cleaning, hung up the washed clothes or collected dry clothes, folded things, took out the trash. Amanat wears diapers. I often changed her diapers, so I necessarily took out the trash. Than Amanat woke up. Usually she drank only water and in 20-25 minutes we ate afternoon tea. Amanat passed the preschool program at home. Her lesson started at 16.00 o`clock. I helped her prepare for the lesson. At 15.50 her teacher usually came. At 16.00 they started. Lesson lasted one hours. After lesson we had fun. We ate ice-cream, played chess, watched the cartoon. At six o`clock in the evening we had dinner. I cooked dinner. After dinner we went for walk. Miss Gulnara come back at seven o`clock in the evening. My work ended at eight o`clock in the evening. I worked all weekdays. My working days started in May. On the first of September my studies began and I had to leave work. This is my first experience.
In summer, 2020 I worked as a babysitter in another family. I took care of a little girl. She was 1 years old. Her name is Jamilya. Jamilya was a very active child. I got a new experience with her. We followed the daily regimen. I fed her, put to bed timely. My responsibilities also included cleaning the children`s room, playing and walking, preparing baby food. Jamil`s mother`s name is Bermet. Miss Bermet is kind and responsive. Miss Bermet did not work. But was busy with other things. She is young. We became friends. I got along very well with Jamilya too. I took care of Jamilya for three months. I quit my job because they moved out of town. With Miss Bermet I keep in touch till now. She gave birth to her second child.
I like interacting with children. I am glad that I had the opportunity to take care of such children like Amanat and Jamilya. I got a lot of experience. At the moment I keep in touch with both families and sometimes I visit them. With all my heart I wish that everything would be great for them in the future as well as now.
