Dear Family
My name is Moreen from Kenya. I am an enthusiastic, adventurous, 26 years old psychology student, who is absolutely passionate about the life she has created for herself.
When I was 19, I moved to Belgium as an aupair where I took care of 2 kids, age 4 and 6 years. I later on moved to Denmark where I lived with an amazing family for 2years taking care of 4 kids and 2 dogs. I then got a chance to move to Norway where I lived with yet another incredible family in Oslo for 2 years, taking care of 2 girls aged 2 and 4 years. My experience as an au pair during my early twenties was nothing short of amazing. I got to travel to 7 European countries, experienced different cultures, but most importantly experienced tremendous growth as a person. The experience helped me become open minded and positively impacted my perspective towards life. Moreover, having lived with very empowered women (my host moms) inspired me to continue relentlessly chasing after my dreams .
I always desired to go back to university and further my studies. After multiple failed attempts to apply for bachelor scholarship programs in Scandinavia, I decided to move back home after my contract in Norway. I enrolled in a psychology class at one of the best universities in Kenya where I am currently a third year student. Since my program is conducted online, it has presented an opportunity for me to pursue yet another incredible au pair experience in a different country.
Having more than 4.5years experience as an au pair, I believe that I can be the most suitable candidate to join your family. In addition, my studies in pschology have taught me a lot more about kids and the crucial role that a child's caregiver plays in the development of the child's both physical and emotional well being. With that being said, taking care of kids is a task that I absolutely find pride in and one that I thoroughly enjoy.
