Hi dear family!
My name is Chiara and I'm a 23 years old girl from Italy.
I'm a really curious and talkative person that really like taking care of people. Among all my interests, my favourite ones are swimming, cooking, learning languages and discover new cultures. I will soon graduate from a Bachelor's Degree in Korean Studies, and after that I would like to improve my langugage skills. Because of all these reasons, I decided to join this site with the will to start this amazing adventure as an Aupair, hopefully in South Korea.
I decided to become an Au Pair because I would like to take care of children and giving them the opportunity of learning English or a foreign language from a young age, which is the dream I had when I was younger too.
Since I lived in the United States of America for one year and I know a little bit of Korean, I think I could be a perfect Au Pair because I could teach children both English and/or Italian talking and playing with them everyday in a fun and easy way. I chose South Korea for this experience because I would also like to improve a lot of my Korean skills.
I never had any experience with babysitting as a job, but I had the opportunity to babysit some relatives like baby cousins and I really enjoyed spending time with them, playing, make them entertained and taking care of them.
For a couple of months, I have been babysitting my 6 years old cousin: I would wake her up, make her breakfast, get her ready and bring her to school. For a few days, for a couple hours a day, I also took care of my 7 months old baby cousin, while her mum needed to remote working from home, playing with her and making her have fun. I think that making a baby laugh is one of the most difficult but precious and happiest thing you could experience.These experiences make me understand how difficult taking care of a child can be but also how it can be rewarding and joyful. These are the reasons why I would like to become an Au Pair and help a tired parent in need. :) Hope to become your helpful Aupair soon! Take care!
