My name is Lion Selmer Wattimena, and I am from Indonesia. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my profile. I hope this message helps you get to know me a little better.

I consider myself a kind, responsible, and open-minded person who genuinely enjoys helping others. During my school years, I was actively involved in social organizations and volunteered in community activities. One of the most meaningful experiences in my life was visiting orphanages and small schools in rural areas, where I helped teach children who had limited access to educational resources. Those moments taught me that kindness, patience, and encouragement can make a real difference in a child's life.

I was also an active member of the Indonesian Red Cross Youth (PMR), where I learned basic First Aid and CPR skills. Although I do not have a formal certification, the experience helped me become more responsible, calm under pressure, and aware of the importance of caring for others. During school, I was trusted to help manage the school health unit (UKS) and support social activities, which strengthened my organizational and communication skills.

For the past three years, I have had the opportunity to live outside Indonesia. This experience helped me become independent, adaptable, and comfortable living in multicultural environments. I enjoy learning about different cultures and meeting people from various backgrounds.

I can communicate comfortably in English for everyday conversations. I also have basic conversational skills in Mandarin and Korean, and I have some basic knowledge of Dutch because of my family background. I enjoy learning languages because I believe language is one of the best ways to understand people and their culture.

My reason for becoming an Au Pair goes beyond traveling abroad. I truly hope to become someone your children can trust, feel comfortable with, and enjoy spending time with. I understand that many parents work very hard to provide the best future for their families. I would be happy to support your family by creating a safe, caring, and positive environment where your children feel listened to, encouraged, and valued while you are at work.

I believe childhood is one of the most important stages of life. The love, attention, and emotional support children receive today can shape the confident, kind, and responsible adults they become in the future. If I can contribute in a small way by being a positive role model and caring companion, I would consider my time as an Au Pair truly meaningful.
