Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Gita, and I am from Indonesia. I am a warm, responsible, and caring person with a strong background in education and hands-on experience working with children of different age groups.
I worked as a Teaching Assistant for 9 months in a primary class (ages 6–7), where I supported students in their learning, helped manage classroom activities, and guided them in both academic tasks and daily routines. I also worked as a Teacher Aide for 3 months in an Early Learning Center (ELC) class with 3-year-old children, where I assisted in caring for young children, supporting their basic needs, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn through play.
Through these experiences, I have learned how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to each child’s needs. I truly enjoy spending time with children—whether it’s helping them with homework, reading stories, playing games, or simply being someone they feel safe and comfortable with. I believe that building trust and creating a positive environment are very important for children’s growth.
As a person, I am independent, respectful, and open-minded. I value kindness, responsibility, and good communication. I am also excited to experience a new culture and become part of a family where we can learn from each other.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, light exercise, and outdoor activities. I love creating simple and fun activities that can help children learn while enjoying their time.
