Dear host family,

I am very much looking forward to meeting you. However, before that, allow me to introduce myself first.

My name is Savira, but most people call me Savira. I am 18 years old and live in Solo, Indonesia. I live with my parents, my brother Syaqif (6), and my sister Sabrina (10). My hometown is rich in natural scenery and culture. We have four cats who love to cuddle all day long, and two birds. My father works as a police officer, and my mother is an elementary school teacher. Sabrina is currently in the 5th grade of elementary school, and Syaqif is still in kindergarten. I am also currently taking English courses to improve my communication skills.
I would describe myself as a reliable and caring person who always tries to see the positive side of every situation. I really enjoy spending time with my two younger siblings.
In my free time, I like listening to music, shopping, or reading books. Reading books is one of my favorite hobbies, and I also like helping my younger siblings with their homework and cooking their favorite food, which is fried rice. Besides that, I also like swimming and singing, even if it's just in the bathroom. I am very good at riding bicycles and motorcycles, and I already have a driver's license. However, I do not yet have a driver's license for cars.
When my younger siblings were little, I took care of them while our mother was at work. During that time, I realized how much I enjoyed having children around me, and I cannot imagine life without them.
I want to become an au pair to gain international cultural experience, improve my foreign language skills, and learn to be independent and responsible. Additionally, I really love children and enjoy helping to take care of them.
