Hello! I hope you're doing great
My name is Ibnu, and you can simply call me Haikal. I am a 23-year-old young man who lives in Bandung, Indonesia. I am in a family of 5, consisting of my father who is retired from a telecommunication company, my mom who has renting businesses, one big brother who has mental retardation, and a little brother who is currently a high schooler. My role in the family is to take care almost of everything and be my parent's assistance since I was raised like a first child. I love my family a lot moreover my big brother who is so special to me, he is like my baby already. My grandma who is sick because of aging has been living in my house, and because mostly I do not have anything to do in particular, my family gave me the responsibility to take care of her. When people have become old, they tend to act like little kid and this is why I always be patient. Generally what I do in my house daily is take care of my grandma, sweep and mop the floor, wash the dishes, go out for groceries, do the laundry, and clean the bathrooms. Other than that, I love kids. Twice a year, when the vacation starts, my cousins who have little children come to my house. And yes, I should take care of them and keep them occupied and having fun. Usually, we like to draw, dance, watch YouTube videos, role-play, do superhero stuff, sing, and joke around.
I guess it's enough for my family background, now let me tell you more specifically about myself. So, I was a university student majoring in International Relations with a concentration in International Politics and Economics. But life is never flat and smooth. I had to give up my studies because of my family situation and because I should be in the house most of the time, resulting in my High School certificate as my last study.
My intention to work as an au pair in France is to rebuild my whole life from zero. I have a big goal in life that I need to achieve. I would also like to live in France, gain knowledge and experiences, and continue my study that has been abandoned before. Also, I have a personal challenge that I have to pass for my future family. So I think becoming an au pair is the best way to start everything from zero since I do not have lots of options.
Now let's move on to my hobby!! In my spare time, I really like to play guitar, listen to music, watch movies, and interact with people. I also have a great interest in learning languages. I've learned Japanese and French, yet I feel like I'm a newcomer to those languages thanks to Duolingo and YouTube. As a person, I have always been interested in learning about business, programming, or design (including photo and video editing), but I feel I can't do it alone and am really looking forward to starting.
For myself, I do not have any problem with pets, it's all good. One that has to be kept in mind is that I cannot eat pork or anything that contains pork. I do not drink alcohol, and I am okay with someone who smokes. Sometimes I do smoke but, my goal is also to stop smoking, and right now I rarely smoke Yeay, I think I'm getting closer to my goal. I am a Muslim, but not a good one, at least right now. I believe in humanity the most.
