My name is Annika, I’m 24 years old and I’m from southern Germany. I’m a very joyful and responsible person, who is always looking for new people to meet and new cultures to learn about.
I’m looking for a lovely host family (preferably at the Atlantic cost/Landes Region, as I always wanted to go there) that shares a positive lifestyle and needs a responsible and easy-going au-pair :)
During my seven months of volunteering at a children’s village in the Philippines in 2019 my wish to do an Au-Pair someday constantly grew. There I had to plan activities for about 50 kids, from the age of 2-18, so I’m also familiar with different age groups and their needs.
Since than I have babysitted for a family for about a year, did an internship at a kindergarden/crèche and also do tutoring for kids aged 6-15 from time to time in the subjects German, English and Maths.
My mother tongue is German, but I study English at university thus my English is also quite fluent. I took French in school for seven years and could speak it quite fluently. The past years I didn’t talk French very often but I think I will quickly get used to talking it again:) For me it’s one of the most beautiful languages.
I also have some basic knowledge of Tagalog/Cebuano which I learned during my time in the Philippines.
I am currently writing my bachelor’s thesis, but I will be free at the beginning of April 2024.
