Dear family,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Marilsevene, but my friends call me "Marie 7". I'm 20, soon to be 21, and I'm originally from Paris. I'm currently a work-study student in cyber security, while working at Atos as an apprentice SSI engineer. But there's more to my life than studying and working.

Although I don't yet have a driving license, I plan to get one before I leave in September. I also love animals, and in my family we have several dogs who are an integral part of our lives.

In considering a gap year abroad, I'm convinced that the experience of being an au pair would enable me to combine my passions for children, travel and discovering new cultures.

In addition to my academic activities and my travels, I have a deep love for children. Having often taken care of my twin sisters and one of their babies, Owen, I have developed a natural affinity with children. Currently, I'm also a babysitter for two children, Lucie and Fabien, aged 8 and 10 respectively. I accompany them to school, help them with their homework, and take them to their harp and horn lessons. Together, we also explore various side activities when we have free time.

From an early age, I've been passionate about movement and performance. A former gymnast and pole dancer, I'm also a member of a cheerleading team and a cheer coach as well. My passion for dance and movement goes hand in hand with a love of travel. I've had the chance to explore many corners of the world, from the United States to the Bahamas, via Greece and Jamaica. But my greatest desire is to discover Asia, in particular Korea and Japan.
