My name is Destina and after visiting Paris a handful of times, I have fallen in love with the City as most people now do. I graduated from college in the summer of 2022, and therefore I have a lot of free time now. I feel called to become an au pair, and I am very excited to make this dream come true. I would love to learn more about the french culture, and it would be my pleasure to do so while caring for your family!

I am a generous, HAPPY, and open-minded individual, who loves to experience and learn new things every day. I am mostly easy-going and relaxed, but at the same time independent and assertive when necessary.
I adore both children and to experience new adventures in different cultures, and to combine both together would be a dream come true. Therefore it would be my pleasure to take care of your loved ones!
I am not very shy and I love going out and spending time with other people most of the time, but I like to spend time alone as well. Other than that I would describe myself as free-spirited, happy, and sympathetic and I am very smiley most of the time.
I have a little brother, which is 18 years old - making me the big sister. Therefore it was not unusual for me to be the one to take care of him when we were younger, and my parents were not home.
I live with my little brother, and both of my parents in Odense, which is the city I also grew up in.
My little brother is also my best friend. He has taught me patience and unconditional love and therefore plays a big role in who I am today. I am also very close with my parents as well, and they have made me the person I am today.
My mum is also a kindergarten teacher, so being around children is not unfamiliar to me.
I spend a lot of my free time with my friends as well, and I see them as my family too.
These past 7 months I have been strength training 5 days a week, and therefore I really enjoy keeping active. I also absolutely LOVE being creative, especially fashion-wise and I have spent a lot of time experiencing with my clothes, and I have always had a big interest in fashion! Creative wise I also enjoy going to museums or art galleries, and I always go when I visit new places.
I also really like to read when I have the time, but I have to admit I don't read as much as I would like to.
But most importantly the thing I enjoy the most is traveling in my free time, which I do every now and then.
I have taken care of a lot of children throughout the years. I have cared for my little brother from a young age when we were alone at home. A lot of my friends have small siblings, and therefore I have babysat a lot of them since I have been 12 years old. I really enjoy babysitting children and have never felt it was a burden to babysit, therefore I still babysit my parents' friends' smaller kids to this day today. I mostly have experience with children from the age of two and up, but I am also open to smaller infants as well.
As mentioned before my mum is also an educated kindergarten teacher, and because of that, I am very familiar with children as well.
My first language is Danish, but my mother tongue is Turkish. I am therefore both fluent in Danish but also Turkish. I am also very experienced in English, and I am also fluent in English as well.
I learned German from a very young age because of education, but also because I have family in Germany. Because of that I speak a little bit of German, but understand more than I can speak.
I speak a little bit of Spanish as well because I had it as a subject in college for three years, but one day I want to hopefully be fluent in Spanish.
I do not speak very much French nor understand it, but I would like to improve my French.
Children bring me so much joy, and I have always enjoyed taking of children, and combining it with one of my other big passions which is traveling - being an aur pair is the perfect match for me! I have also thought about being an au pair since I was a teenager, I was just never sure where I would like it to be. After visiting and falling in love with the city of Paris over and over again, I could not be more sure now. Therefore I feel called to be an au pair, and I am looking forward to making this dream become a reality with the help of you. At the same time, I wanna fulfill your wish as well, and give you the best experience possible and be a great au pair for you and your family.
I would like to stay for a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 10 months.
