My name is sara, I am 24 years old, I am from Medellin-Colombia.
I am studying breath therapy, during my time as a student I learned to be responsible and persistent. I also learned to take care of people, being patience and I learned to pay attention of the small details and that is going to help me to be an excellent au pair.
In my spare time I like getting to know new places, having fun with my family and my friends, I like swimming, I have experience taking my brother to swimming lessons since he was 6 months, so I help him to learn to swim, i love to cook and i like to try some new recipes, I like to read and learn something new every day.
my family consist of my mother, my father, their partners, and my siblings.
I have three brothers, their names are Brayan Who is 19 years old, David Who is 12 years old and santiago Who is 6 years old, I am the big sister, so I always have been in charge of them.
I consider myself as a responsible, respectful, and calm person, also I see myself a creative person and trustworthy, I have more than 10 years of experience taking care of children, I have experience with children between newborns to 14 years old.
I like spending time with the kids because They are very creative, together we can create the best histories and games, my favorite experience is when they discover something new, your enthusiasm is contagious, besides I take care my siblings, I also took care of neighbor’s and friends' children.
I help them with homework and virtual classes, getting ready for the next day, cooking, feeding them, doing craft, taking them to the park and playing together.
I want to be an au pair because I get the opportunity to work with children, to become part of a family with different culture, i can teach of their my customs and to learn of their and way of life.
I think this program is going to help me to learn and practice my English and I am happy to get to know new people and places and live my intercultural exchange.
