Dear family:
My name is Laura Isabel Espinosa, I am 24 years old and I live in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. I have a beautiful family made up of two younger sisters and my parents, whom I love with all my heart, they have always been supporting me and guiding me at every step, my parents have instilled in me the value of truth, respect and love as a basis Fundamental to any relationship, we love going for family outings on weekends, we love going out to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of our country, we are always together, we eat together and talk about everything that has happened to us throughout the day I like to play with my sisters, for Christmas night I invented a game for them, I call it "treasure pirates" which is about looking for a gift through some clues that I leave all over the house. In my family we have an important premise at home and it is to never go to sleep when angry and we always try to solve problems through dialogue, they taught me to be a kind, helpful person and always willing to do my best.
I graduated from high school from an excellent school, in 2014, from there I learned the love for knowledge and reading, I also forged friendships with great value in my life which I still keep. I am currently an industrial engineering student, I am very happy with my degree because it has taught me many things for my professional and personal life, it has helped me to know how to manage my time, to be more organized, to plan and schedule my activities, to think of solutions to each problem that comes my way and be more objective with my decisions.
I always seek to grow in all aspects of my life and at this moment my heart tells me that I need to test myself, leave home and live new experiences, get to know other cultures and learn from other people; That is why I can't find a better way to do it than being a babysitter, because I have always liked taking care of children, since I was little I have shared with my sisters and I have protected them with all the love and dedication in the world, trying to give them the best example, help them with their tasks, their worries and supporting them along the way. I have many dreams of traveling to the United States because I want to improve my English and see many emblematic places. I have an intermediate level of conversational English and my native language is Spanish, I would like to be able to teach my native language and share my culture.
In my free time I like to ride skates, I like to dance (especially salsa), I am a professional shower singer and I listen to podcasts on science, technology and personal growth.
I have extensive experience of more than 1,200 hours taking care of children since I have always been on the lookout for my two younger sisters, I have taken care of them since they were babies (they are currently 11 and 14 years old), I am very patient and loving, I like to dedicate myself to teaching them and help with homework, do their hair, read them stories and cook them new and delicious recipes. Actually, I love taking care of babies, changing their diaper, preparing a bottle, pampering them to sleep. I have a specialized first aid course with an emphasis on early childhood, on top of that I have a driver's license with more than a year of experience.
I am an organized person, who has been independent since I was little, I know how to cook, wash clothes, dishes, iron, sweep, mop and all other important tasks to keep the house in order and cleanliness.
I want to have a host family that accepts me as part of their family, that respects the established agreements, that is empathetic and is always willing to carry out excellent communication.
