My name is Emily Lopera I am 22 years old and I live in Medellin, Colombia.
I study accounting at the University of Antioquia, one of the most beautiful universities and is the cultural and historical heritage of Antioquia and that makes me happy.
I live with my family, my parents Yezid is a dispatcher, my mother Johana is a cosmetologist, and my sister Alison is studying business management, I am the older sister, and my dog Mia, is a beautiful rescued dog.
I want to be an au pair because I like working with babies and children, I think it develops my skills and values because with them I can be creative and also very responsible.
My experience with children started years ago when I was the oldest of my cousins in my house, my grandmother took care of children in her house and I helped her with them, then friends of my parents had children and they considered me a responsible person to take care of them, now my friends started to have children and they consider me a support to help them with their babies since they consider me a reliable person and I have knowledge of how to do it.
In high school, they put us seniors to do a social service and I chose to do it with first graders, I spent a year as a tutor of children.
I like cooking very much, and I would like to share with them the typical dishes of my country so that the children know a little of my culture through food, I would also like to learn their favorite dishes to know their culture, I also like to bake, prepare cakes, cookies and make desserts for the children.
One of the best experiences is when I help parents celebrate birthdays, baptisms, Halloween, or Christmas because I like these holidays very much, and sharing them with them and giving them a great day where they are happy makes those holidays better.
I can't wait to live a new experience with you, I know we are going to have fun and that I can be of great help as well as you are willing to receive me in your beautiful home and family.
