Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
My name is Ruofei. You can call me Freya. I am 24 years old, from China, and wanna become part of your family with passion and love to share my culture and abilities with all members. I studied German as a major during my undergraduate studies and I am currently an office clerk, mainly responsible for assisting General Manager. I consider myself to be outgoing, patient, enjoy spending time with children, responsible for my duties, punctual, respectful, very willing to experience foreign cultures, and also adaptable to different environments.
I have no professional training in childcare, but I enjoy spending time with children. In the fall of 2017, my aunt gave birth to a pair of twins, a sister and a brother, who are very cute babies. Every holiday from then on, I came home from university and spent at least four or five hours a day with my younger siblings, feeding them as babies, making them laugh, and putting them to sleep; Now they are already five years old, they are very energetic, and what I do with them now is to hold hands and go for walks, do puzzles, play with Lego, and watch cartoons and educational programs., etc. I think I can provide good companionship for children and make them feel secure and happy around me.
Finally, through this program, I want to help my host family take care of their children, teach them my native language, and help them understand Chinese culture. In addition, I would like to improve my German and English speaking skills to have the opportunity to study in Germany in the future.
