Hello, my name is Presheline and I am 23-years-old. I am a nurse with one year of experience and a preply tutor from Cameroon. I am writing to introduce myself as a potential au pair for your family. I have always loved working with children and learning about new cultures and I think being an au pair would be a great opportunity for me to do both.
I am currently working at a hospital in limbe and I have the passion in teaching, reading, and writing. I also enjoy music, art, and sports and I am always eager to try new things and challenge myself. I am a friendly, responsible and adaptable person, who can work well independently and as part of a team. I have a lot of experience in taking care of children of different ages; as I have two cousins and a nephew who I often babysit.
I am interested in becoming an au pair in America because I wish to learn more about the American cultures and lifestyle. I have learned about the American cultures in school but I would love to practice it in real-life setting and immerse in the language. I also would like the American history, art, cuisine and fashion and I would like to explore the country and it's diversity. I chose your family because I was impressed by your profile and the description of your daily life. You seem like a warm, welcoming and fun-loving family who values education, creativity and respect. I think we would get along very well and have a lot to share with each other.
As an au pair for your family, I would be happy to help with the child care and household chores as much as possible. I can assist with homework, prepare meals, do laundry, tidy up, run errands, and anything else you might need. I can also plan and participate in various activities with your children such as games, crafts, outings, sports etc.i would like to teach them some English and French or something about my culture if they are interested. At the same time I would appreciate if you could teach me some English or something about your culture as well. I think this would be a great way for us to learn from each other and enrich our perspectives.
