Hello, I’m Ana from Brazil, I’m 22 years old, and I’m happy you clicked on my profile!

Let’s start by talking a little about me: I’m a very dedicated person when it comes to studying, and I really value education. In the future, I want to study Biomedicine and specialize in Pediatrics and Neonatology.

I really enjoy having family sleepovers, watching movies, eating popcorn and pizza, and playing games for hours. I truly value these family moments and try to make them happen at least once a month.

I’m a big fan of Marvel movies (I’m Team Iron Man hahaha), and I love the Harry Potter universe even more — I’m a Slytherin (which makes me really happy!). I’m also very excited about the new series coming out.

One thing I really connect with children through is that same sense of wonder I have for Disney. Their movies teach so much, and I grew up watching shows like Hannah Montana, Shake It Up, Zack and Cody, and Jessie. These shows made me fascinated with the United States.

I’m someone who dreams of traveling the world and building a simple but comfortable life. Becoming an Au Pair is an opportunity for me to live two of my dreams at once: working with children and traveling. I’ve always loved learning languages, and most of what I know, I learned on my own through the internet. I started trying to learn languages when I was 12 (even though I was a bit young for everything hahaha).

Nowadays, I speak Spanish and English (B1 and A2 levels, respectively), and I also know Brazilian Sign Language. I’ve even tried learning a bit of ASL (American Sign Language).

When it comes to experience, I took care of my two younger siblings since they were little, and that represents a big part of my experience. Besides that, I’ve done volunteer work and, more recently, I took care of a 2-year-old baby for a few months. I will also gain more experience through my nursing course, especially during my internship in pediatrics and neonatology, where I’ll have more contact with babies and children with special needs.
