My name is Mariana, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become an au pair and be part of your family.
I am currently in my final year of high school and will complete my studies before beginning my au pair journey. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life, where I can fully dedicate myself to cultural exchange and childcare.
I have two years of childcare experience as a nanny, caring for an infant from just a few months old and a four-year-old child. My responsibilities included preparing meals, feeding the children, bathing and dressing them, taking them to and from daycare, supervising daily activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. I also provided overnight care when needed.
I would describe myself as calm, patient, responsible, and caring. I enjoy creating a warm and positive environment for the people around me. Although I can be a little shy at first, I am friendly and enjoy building meaningful relationships based on trust and respect.
Portuguese is my native language, and I have a basic level of English that allows me to communicate in everyday situations. I have been learning English independently through music, movies, and TV series, and I am highly motivated to improve my language skills through immersion and daily communication.
In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies and TV series, spending time with my family and friends, and learning about different cultures. I also love discovering new places and experiences.
As an au pair, I hope to improve my English, experience a new culture, build a strong relationship with my host family, and create wonderful memories together. I would love to become a supportive and trusted member of your family while sharing my own culture and traditions with you.
