Hello host family, how are you?
First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be here and share with you my immense happiness in working with children! My desire to be an au pair began with the desire to teach American children the customs, games and routines of Brazilian children. We Brazilians are known for smiling people and it's no wonder! I want to pass this happiness on to American children! Here in Brazil I learned a lot taking care of children, but mainly, I learned about affection, love, learning and child development and how much this is directly linked to the way children spend their days and the energy they receive from the people around them! Each child is unique and it is their particularities that enchant me.
I started working with children when I was 16. Giving dance classes at a children's school in the city.
At 18 I started as a nanny, I took care of a 2 year old girl and her newborn brother for 5 years! Today she is 7 years old and he is 5 years old. In 2022, I joined a toy library in a city mall, where I also had the opportunity to work with older children from different countries! Today, I work full time in a public school, I am responsible for helping the teacher and taking care of the children. I study pedagogy and already working in the area is rewarding!
The idea of ??living abroad with a host family is a dream come true. I always wanted to go abroad and experience another culture, I love to travel! and doing that combined with working as an au pair is like winning the lottery.
I'm very homely, there's no better program for a Saturday night than watching a good movie with popcorn! During the day, I like to walk in parks and practice outdoors.
Is there a dance school out there? if not I'm sure I'll find it haha ????dancing is my passion, I've been a student and teacher of dance for years and I'd love to share it with the little ones! I also have skills with face painting and theater. Your little one would have a princess day every day! I love doing different hairstyles and making princess dresses. At the toy library where I worked, I did all that and much more! I am also very affectionate and I value communication a lot. Children need to be heard, welcomed and given the attention they need.
