My name is Julio, I'm 26 years old and I live in a city named Americana in São Paulo. If you're thinking this name sounds familiar, yes! this is a city founded by American people here in brazil

I'm hard-working, organized, responsible a very artsy person who loves to paint, read and cook
I think the Au pair program is right for me because I love American culture and kids. And I want to make them see me as a Big Brother!

Living with an American family will be the best way to improve my English and have a real connection with the country.

My experience with kids started when I was 4 and destiny made me the big brother of a baby. And then...2 more babies after. It made me a responsible person with kids while I helped my mom to take care of them. This made me learn how to entertain kids with fun and creativity.

When the pandemic started I lost my job as a graphic designer and had the amazing opportunity to work with chidlren and become the `big brother` of Ana, a little girl of 8 yo. I spend 8 months livin with this family working from 8-12h 5 times per weeek.
We watched her online classes and did the homework together. I also taugh her a little bit of English and drawing. My responsibilities included doing the breakfast for her and sometimes the lunch, making her feel entertained through long walks with rollerblades in the park, camping in the living room, play with card games and video games, sculpting with play-doh, having picnics in the backyard, paint with music and movies.

We had a great time together and I feel like life give me a sister. After 8 months of daily childcare, things started to be back on track. The presential classes came back and I find a new job.

My experience with children keeps growing, now with Cecilia, a little lady of 10! I spend six months with her 5 times per week from 8-12h while the parents were working. I had almost the same responsibilities as her including: helping with the weekend homework, offering breakfast and lunch, prepare her for school, taking her for outdoor activities like walks and picnics in the park, zoo, and cinema or even cooking funny dishes with her.
