My name is Marley, and I’ve been work-trading on the big island for the past few months learning about beekeeping. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and I love the teaching and learning aspect that comes with spending time with children… I personally believe I learn from them just as much as they would from me:). It allows me to thrive creatively while also expanding my perspectives on the world.
I graduated in 2022 from the University of Kansas with a journalism degree and love to write. Swimming is easily my favorite activity, and now, living here, I love to explore different beaches and ocean life.
Having fun and exploring creative sides is an important part of my caretaking method. Children deserve grace while they learn to navigate our ever changing world and those 2 things help to make that easier.
I am looking for a live-in position that has transportation because I would be moving from my work/trade housing to wherever you may be located. Unfortunately, my car is on the mainland, but I could potentially ship it here after saving up.
