About the Role:
We are a small, loving family based in beautiful Tulum, seeking a responsible, kind, and educated woman to live in and care for our 14-year-old daughter while I travel. This is a unique opportunity to stay in a serene home surrounded by nature while making a meaningful impact in a young teen’s life.
The ideal candidate is a warm, grounded presence with experience working with teenagers, a structured yet gentle approach, and the ability to support both emotional well-being and academic discipline.

Responsibilities:
1. For my daughter:
• Be a trustworthy, mature, and positive companion
• Support her homeschool routine (we follow a structured program—guidance, not teaching, is needed)
• Provide supervision and conversation, while respecting her growing independence
• Encourage healthy routines (sleep, meals, breaks from screen time)
• Organize occasional outings in nature or the community (optional, based on comfort level)
2. For the dog:
• Care for a well-trained, small service dog (walks, feeding, companionship)
• Ensure he’s safe and comfortable during the day
3. For the home:
• Light upkeep of shared spaces (tidy kitchen, general cleanliness)
• Presence in the home during the night for peace of mind
• Coordination with property manager or maintenance if needed

Ideal Candidate:
• Female, 35+ years old
• Experienced with teens or homeschooling (or background in education, psychology, or mentoring)
• Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Calm, respectful, organized, and emotionally mature
• Pet-friendly and responsible
• Non-smoker
