My extensive studies over the past 11 years have been insightful and I believe they have moulded me into the teacher I am today. My highest qualification to date is a BA Honours, Education, Child and Family Studies. Before this I accomplished my Foundation Degree in Teaching and Learning Support (Primary). Both of these innovative courses have been very informative, involving direct instruction, a plethora of independent reading and workplace experience; all which have had a positive impact on my professional identity; shaping my values as a teacher, as well as complimenting my continual professional development.
In addition to my academic experience I have a wealth of first hand experience of teaching and caring for children aged from 3 months to 14 years of age; in a wide range of settings, including the child's home, baby units, Children's Centre's, Nursery and Primary Schools.
Finally, am a self - motivated individual, whom is hard-working and always willing to go the extra mile for children within my care, whether this be extending the seesion to fufil the needs of the student, creating a list of interactive sites which can be visited in the students own time - to reinforce or consolidate prior learning.
