Introduction
If you are looking for help with a child who has Autism or other special educational needs then my experience may be useful to you.
I'm a teacher who worked for many years in Special Needs schools in London. The children were not only autistic but also had different conditions such as ADHD, bipolar disorder, cerebral palsy or Downs syndrome.
I offer private tuition, part-time, in your home, to help your child's education and functional skills by means of:
• enhanced communication through symbols, Makaton and PECS
• applying various strategies to deal with challenging behaviour
• various sensory integration techniques
• devising individual educational plans
• setting structure and routine for independence
I live in Antibes, and will travel in the local area to you.
Currently I work with one special needs child in their own home who has made enormous progress following an individual, personalized curriculum.
