We are a family of three living in a beautiful villa in the suburbs of Rome, between Frascati and Grottaferrata. We moved from London a year ago. My husband is Portuguese, I am British (Italian/Chilean background) and we have a lovely three-year old boy named Gabriel. He is a good sleeper and eater, very independent, curious and very friendly. He speaks Portuguese, English and Italian. And he understands some Spanish.

We are looking for a part-time, live-in nanny-housekeeper. To take over from Suzy, our current nanny-housekeeper who has been with us for a year, as she will be taking up a full time teaching role after the summer.
This job is ideal for someone who wants to live near Rome, but in the picturesque suburbs, in really nice accommodation, and build a strong long-term bond with our 3 year old.
We both work busy and unpredictable jobs so we just need extra help during the working week, juggling our son and house tasks in the mornings and late afternoons. The hours will likely be Monday-Thursdays, from around 7-9am and 3pm-7pm. And occasionally the same hours on the Friday.
Occasionally there will be urgent situations where our son is sick and cannot go to nursery. So we will need someone who will be dependable and available to care for him on those days so we can continue to work.
We would like to find someone who would like to live & work with us for at least 1-2 years, so our son builds a trusting relationship (like a loving auntie).
Our son Gabriel is 3 years old . A good sleeper and eater. And very friendly and independent. He speaks Portuguese, English and Italian. And he understands some Spanish.
Tasks would range from cooking a nutritious dinner for the family, collecting our son from school, feeding him, playing with him, tidying and family laundry, for example. It is likely to be a 50/50 balance between support with housekeeping tasks and support with our son.
The ideal person would be trained in child first aid, have references available, and experience with toddlers aged 3-4 years. We also need someone who has a drivers licence.
Ability to speak English is important so we can communicate. Speaking Italian, Portuguese or Spanish is a bonus.
You would have your own free room with us. Monthly pay is negotiable - depending on experience.
We will also provide a bonus every 3 months, based on performance.
