Live-In Companion in Fort Collins, Colorado
I’m a university professor and certified health and wellness coach living in beautiful Old Town Fort Collins. I use a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury and am seeking a thoughtful, kind, and dependable individual to share a peaceful living environment and provide light, non-medical support in a unique home-share arrangement. This role is ideal for someone with an interest in wellness, caregiving, or intercultural connection.
The Role
The primary responsibility is to provide an overnight presence in the home 5–6 nights per week for peace of mind and emergency backup. Most nights are quiet, and you are free to sleep undisturbed. In addition, I’m looking for someone who can support regular home routines, help with light organization or maintenance, and occasionally join for meals, errands, or outings. A supportive, consistent presence makes a meaningful difference in daily life.
This is not a medical or heavy physical care position, but rather a shared life experience centered around dignity, mutual respect, and quality of life. If you’re the right fit, you’ll be welcomed not just as a helper—but as part of a home.

Additional Notes
Volunteers open to taking on more responsibility (e.g., personal care, transportation, planning, or project support) will be eligible for an allowance. While the role begins as volunteer-based, the arrangement is built on shared trust and the potential to grow over time.
