When working as an au-pair I was in charge of of an anxious king Charles spaniel and helped neighbors with daily walking of their golden retriever who was not keen on walking.
I was also given the task of looking after an adult Vizsla dog, who was learning how to heal while walking.
I also had the the king Charles spaniel and continued to do afternoon walks with the golden retriever.
During a stay with relatives I helped look after a senior terrier that was partially blind, had arthritis and low bowl control.
I gave him medication and was mindful of taking him out for frequent bathroom trips outside to avoid indoor accidents all while keeping in mind his arthritis sensitivity.
