Hello, welcome to my profile! I am very happy to have you here! I know that there is still a big prejudice against men taking care of children, and that many people believe that this function is only women's job, but I'm here to show you that we men are also able to do this work very well. So I know that this moment is especially important when it comes to choosing a person to take care of the most precious possessions that are your little ones. I understand that, for daily tasks, an extra hand is always helpful. Finding someone who cares, helps your children with their homework, plays with them, feeds them, gives them attention and the necessary care.
I've always had a lot of contact with children, I worked as a babysitter, I took care of babies, toddler and children, I worked in 2 day-cares and I had contact with children with different ages, in there I helped the children with classroom activities like, painting, drawing, writing their names, counting, watching them playing in the playground, lunch and nap time, I truly think that it is a gift to see the world through their eyes.
Besides my experience with kids, I also took some courses related to health and care and first aid.
I speak native Portuguese but I always liked languages, I want to be a polyglot, but the language that I like the most is English, I always had the desire to become fluent in English.
When I discovered this exchange, I saw how much I could improve my English and have the realization of fluency and get to know the USA, which has always been one of my dreams too. After English I want to become fluent in another language like Spanish and French.
I consider myself calm, patient and good humored, easygoing and I believe that conflicts can be solved with a good conversation and I will always be open to it.
I like dance, music, outings, movies, series, games, traveling, going out with friends, going to the movie theater, barbecue, meet new friends, physical activities, good nutrition, everything a young person usually likes, one of my hobbies are cooking and I believe that doing this helps me to stay calm and relax. I believe that this opportunity will be very good for me to have new experiences. I'm looking forward for to be part of your team helping your children grow and lern in happy, healthy environment and spend a great year with my future host family.
